Ari Queen

liveaboard dimensions 33 x 10 m
liveaboard year of building 2008/2018
Number of cabins 11 Cabins
Number of beds 22

The Ari Queen is a comfortable boat with enough space onboard. The boat is relatively silent in operation and offers more than enough windows to feel "your presence" in Maldives. Good food and an outside boar, make this a good choice for a good price.

We were a week on board of the Ari Queen and wrote a small trip report on it. Take a look at if to know more about this liveboard. The lower deck houses 6 standard cabins as well as the junior suite. On the main deck there are only two deluxe cabins as here you find the ventilated dinning area and lounge. The top deck has place for two more suites as well as the outside bar.

The boat was really spacious and with a nice mix of people on board. Was very easy to dive in this way (first safari) and will definitely come again to join them. Friendly staff, perfect holiday

The rooms were really big. Diving was great. I'll definitely go back to the Maldives on a liveaboard. Food was plentiful and varied considering you're at sea. The dive masters/instructors spoke great english. The rest of the crew not so much. The night dive with the "feeding frenzy" of the manta rays was spectacular. A fantastic experience!
The divemaster's currents situational management needs some improvement. As unfortunately, we missed one dive site. The direction of the strong currents was evaluated wrong. Some divers had to abort the dive as they were not good swimmers enough. Some of the strongest divers managed to get to a secondary (smaller) pinnacle as a consolation price. The pre-dive briefings were well done but a bit too long in my opinion. As most of the divers were paying little attention to it at some point.
