It was a last moment decision to join this trip, but as we believe that this boat is a good choice for many budgets we really were interested to have this boat on our site. The packing and checking was not without stress and finally late in the evening on Saturday we jumped on board pretty much unseen by the other guests.
Unpacking in our cabin, checking the diving equipment and preparing the camera we were ready for a nice but short night of sleep. Only the next morning we could look around the boat better to see where and with who we ended up. In fact we could pretty much start singing "we are the world" as we found ourselves with in a group consisting of people from Britain, Canada, US, Germany, Italy, Greek, Russian, Israel and Netherlands!
The boat proved to be a good one in the first days, even though the new management told us that a big renovation is planned for this summer we can see that in some way it is already a winner. In it's price class you find many older and much less spacious boats, while this one offers space in cabins, the dinner as well on the public decks. Not found on many boats in higher price class: a mini fridge in every cabin and a hot shower with good water pressure when all divers are using it simultaneously. Believe me, after a few dives . . . very pleasant.
Well, for now that should do it, the first impressions, tomorrow some more dives as well as a barbecue, and the day after expect to hear again from me with some more details. Small bonus, some pics and a small video of some sharks and turtles . . . for your divemood.
See you soon,
Be safe, but ... dive!
